Horse racing is about to get even more exciting thanks to a new race betting app launched by Caesars Entertainment in both Ohio and Florida. This is just the start though with the aim being to launch the app in over thirty more US states during 2022.
Horse gamblers will be able to place online bets by using the New York Racing Association (NYRA) platform. This partnership between them and Caesars Entertainment has produced an app that it is possible to download on iOS.
Pari-mutuel wagering options will be available for those who just love to place bets on horse racing. There will be over 300 racetracks with the best horse racing events being shown on the app.
This includes Belmont Park, where the Belmont Stakes (the third and final leg of the Triple Crown) is being held on June 11. Then there’s racing from Santa Anita and Saratoga to keep horse racing bettors fully occupied.
Caesars Entertainment has already shown a high commitment to the sport of horse racing. They own Horseshoe Indianapolis and Harrah’s Philadelphia, so racing from those tracks will be seen on the new Caesars Racebook app.
They have already been working with the NYRA. January of this year saw them become the title sponsor of some top US races. That includes the NYRA Turf Triple Series races that take place at both Saratoga and Belmont Park.
It’s not just top American racing that will be featured on the app. Those downloading the Caesars Racebook will be able to see and gamble on racing from countries such as the UK and France.
The General Manager of NYRA Bets is Matt Feig. He believes that the partnership they have with Caesars Entertainment “is a win” for the sport, as well as its stakeholders and “countless racetracks around the world.”
We may be in the sixth month of the year but there are plenty more great races to watch and bet on during 2022. In the USA, that includes the Breeders’ Cup that takes place in November. In Europe, there’s Royal Ascot being held in England in mid-June and all roads will lead to Longchamp for the Prix de l’Arc de Triomphe on October 2.
When watching this feast of horse races, there will be the chance to take advantage of the benefits already available at NYRA Bets. Want to see that finish again? Just watch the race replay and there’s lots of information available if struggling to work out yet another difficult handicap race.
It’s been a busy and successful few years for Caesars Entertainment. Their sportsbook has been launched in many states as the US gambling industry continues to expand. More launches in states that legalize sports betting are on the way. They also acquired UK bookmaker William Hill last year.
There are big plans for the app, says the NYRA President and CEO, Dave O’Rourke. He sees this launch as part of the “core responsibility” of the NYRA to “grow the sport.” This will be achieved by “increasing consumer access” to “world-class horse racing” around the USA, not just in New York.
Also delighted with the launch of the Caesars Racebook is Dan Shapiro. He’s the Senior Vice President and Chief Development Officer of Caesars Digital. He sees the launch as “an important milestone” for the company.
