105 Star Wars Galaxy Characters Created As Cartoons

If you are a Star Wars fan like us, you know that no sentence with the words Star and Wars in it will avoid being detected by you. It’s just a rule in the community, and the more creativity and creations we find, the more that seem to exist. It’s an odd algorithm that is probably impossible to crack, but it is a true one, and the result is always satisfying. So what can we possibly have missed this time around, right? Well, a lot really, and I almost missed it myself. Fortunately, my tea was out and as I decided to get more, I stumbled over some pretty cool artwork based on Star Wars Galaxy.

This massive body of work comes from illustrator Brent Engstrom, and it is nothing less than insanely cool. It expresses a multitude of dedication that you probably haven’t seen before. Brent managed to illustrate the heck out of every character in Star Wars Galaxy, and he made them into some kind of cards. The first thing this makes me think about is playing cards, but I am unsure if that’s the purpose of these badboys.

The style is all about cartoons, and the humor in them is brilliant. I mean, how can you not appreciate artwork when it is as flawless as this is? Then you start noticing how much there really is here. There are 105 Star Wars cards in full cartoon style and some are colored. That is just massive, and it speaks of a divine dedication towards the magic of art. Brent has completely managed to create something unique in my humble opinion, and I wish these would one day be available as playing cards. It doesn’t matter how old we get, playing cards will always be a part of the geek community and culture, and I sure don’t want to miss out on it.
