7 Funniest Social Network Pass-A-Note Memes

When they announced that they were going to make a movie about how Facebook started, I was quite skeptical. My only question was, how in the world are they going to be able to make a captivating enough movie to make the whole thing breakeven? After I saw it, I was happily surprised, and I think it’s actually really good. I even bought the DVD. There are some scenes in that movie that are better than others, but as a whole, I really enjoyed it. I wonder if they will make one about Twitter as well someday? I guess it depends on whether Twitter reaps the same successes as Facebook continues to pile up.

One scene in particular has become iconic, and it’s been used in a hilarious series of spoofs, or memes if you will. Everyone has probably seen at least one of them by now, but there is a whole lot out there. Some of them are quite odd, and you need to be inside these particular communities, games, movies or whatever to fully enjoy them. Some of them are straight forward, and I can’t stop laughing when I see them.

These memes, I am sure, have all gone viral at some point or at least they need to go viral. The brilliance in their simple way of spoofing the computer science class scene is pure comedy, and I am eagerly awaiting more of these. The Social Network movie also has plenty of drama in it. Director David Fincher said on a couple of occasions that the movie is all based on truths, but when Mark Zuckerberg was asked about the authenticity of the movie, his answer was quite revealing. “My life is not quite that dramatic.” Sometimes less is more as they say.
