I love this. In my humble opinion, it’s friggin amazing. I’ve always been fascinated with left-brain and right-brain psychology. I have an advanced degree in math, but I also love creativity. I feel the pendulum swing back and forth from the right side to the left side of my brain a lot.
When I was young I went to a special school for creative children, but on the other hand, I can do my own business accounting and taxes. Do you notice those differences in yourself also? We all have bits of both inside of us. One is not better than the other. At this point in my life, I think my right brain outweighs my left brain by 3 to 1. If you would like to learn more about this, you can read an article I wrote on the topic here.
Check out this stunning piece of architectural wonder! This is the Cleveland Clinic Lou Ruvo Center for Brain Health. It was designed by Frank Gehry. Part of this building is free flowing and… different… much like how us right-brained people feel sometimes. The other part of this building is straight and ordinary; it follows all the rules, very similarly to us when we are feeling left-brained (of course I’m over simplifying it here, but you get it). It cost $100 million dollars to build this architectural masterpiece! I would love to check this out in person.
