These Aliens Sneakers Are The Perfect Tribute To Our Favorite Movie

Some movies are epic sagas that go beyond entertainment and leave an everlasting impression on the brain. “Aliens” is one such cult favorite that deserves a special place in the heart, as well as in your sneakers closet! When a footwear giant like Reebok pays tribute to your favorite movie with not one but two limited edition designs, you know that it is time to go shoe shopping. Reebok chose the auspicious Alien Day that falls on 26th April to reveal its Reebok Alien Stomper Final Battle box, which contains two pairs of shoes inspired by the legendary Alien Queen and the Power Loader.

One look is all you need to start drooling over these beauties, but you will have to be patient as the box hits the stores on July 18th. Till then, you will have to make do with the stunning pictures of these shoes that deserve a movie of their own! The Alien Queen sneakers have a patent black finish and are branded with the code for the Xenomorph species “XX121”. These shiny black sneakers have something powerful about them, we are sure that the wearer will experience a sense of authority as soon as they slip their feet into this ravishing pair. Just as no alien colony can survive without its queen, similarly your wardrobe will die a slow and painful death without these Alien Queen sneakers.

The Power Loader sneakers, on the other hand, are a much more casual and colorful alternative. [pullquote]The iconic yellow color of the Power Loader has been replicated to the tee, with the black accents adding on to the coolness quotient.[/pullquote] Reebok has done a fine job of offering a sneaker movie tribute without going too literal with the designs. After all, no matter how madly in love we may be with the movie, it would be too gimmicky to wear the face of the Alien Queen or the robotic arm of the Power Loader on our feet. These Aliens sneakers, however, are quite minimalistic, considering the source of their inspiration, and can be worn on a daily basis without looks of disapproval from those unfamiliar with the world of the Aliens.

We can’t wait to get our hands (or our feet?) on these spectacular Aliens sneakers. All your shoes will pale in comparison once these heroes from the kingdom of the Xenomorphs step into your house. You might want to store these in a safe because they are too precious to be left lying around on the floor. Kudos to Reebok for finding the perfect way of making us pour our money into their bank account. No fan of the movie can resist the lure of this sneaker movie tribute; anyone who doesn’t invest in a pair will be declared a pseudo fan! Even the minority of people who aren’t interested in sci-fi movies, and have therefore deprived themselves of this extraterrestrial goodness, will get intrigued by these Aliens sneakers and might give the movie a shot. What a great way to further expand the cult following of this cinematic delight.
