Bend A Spoon With Your Mind – Matrix Style

I’ve probably watched the Movie “The Matrix” dozens of times. It never ever gets old. One of my favorite scenes is the now very famous spoon bending scene.

About a year ago, my son Henry and I decided that we were going to bend spoons with our minds. It didn’t quite work the way we planned, but we did damage a lot of our cutlery while practicing. It was funny when we had to go buy all new spoons for our kitchen.

“Do not try to bend the spoon; that’s impossible. Instead only try to realize the truth: There is no spoon. Then you’ll see, that it is not the spoon that bends, it is only yourself.” – The Matrix

The question I have is – Is it possible to bend a spoon with your mind?

I‘ve done the research and this is my conclusion:

Yes, some people do have the telekinetic ability to bend a spoon with their mind. There are many examples of this online. Of course, every one of them could be a phony, but for the most part, I am convinced it is possible for a very small amount of people.

For the rest of us, there is also a way I’ve found that we can bend a spoon. It isn’t exactly doing it with our mind; however, it is fascinating nonetheless.

There is a way to heat up the atoms in the steel to make it pliable. Check out this video demonstration:
