Car Bathtub: The Geek Way To Stay Young Forever

When I was a kid, I remember having a friend who had one of those car shaped beds. If I remember right, I think it was a Ferrari shaped in plastic. I thought it was the coolest thing ever. As a young boy, you tend to like things that are a little bit over the top, I know. But since then, that trend has never been the same. I think I saw a store in Los Angeles when I was living there a few years ago that still had those in stock, but they were a little bit more advanced than the plastic ones I remember from my childhood. Still, I was exceedingly excited to see that they were still available, even though only in small demand. So why did we take this wonderful interior design item away from our own children when we know we loved it so much when we were children ourselves?

My guess is that they simply fell off the trend wagon after a big spike, and then were just never reintroduced again.  Today I discovered something that beats all the excitement of the car bed. It’s the Car Bath created by designer Natalia Voloshina, and it’s everything you wish for when it comes to geeky interior design.

It brings back all of those retro feelings you first got when you saw the car bed as a child, but it now comes in the form of a bathtub. So far it’s just an industrial concept design. For everyone that desperately wants this design to become reality, all I can suggest is to get in touch with Natalia and tell her you’re a potential customer. It’s just too cool to not be created. It’s even geekiliciously awesome!
