I can’t get enough of creative NES mods. I’ve written about so many of them, and they just never get old. Each one is as fun as the next, and even though I love my classic NES, it’s starting to look a little boring after seeing some of the designs and mods that people have created and shared with the world.
Today I’d like to feature a few more designs by Oskunk. We’ve featured his art before when Richard wrote about his Super Mario Mushroom Typography. Today I’d like to show you a few of his insanely cool NES art/mods.
The first one is his custom Super NES Metroid design. If you are a Metroid fan, you will love this because it’s freaking beautiful. The second one is his custom NES Michelangelo. I’m a huge Ninja Turtle fan, so this one is my favorite of the two. It’s completely awesomeness defined. If you’d like to check out a few other sweet gaming mods/designs, click over to this Zombie Gameboy mod, this Nintendo 64 Star Wars tie fighter game console, this NES lunchbox mod, or, for the ultimate in strangeness, this working urinal made out of SNES games.
