I love flash mobs, I think its one cool way to make a statement. A flash mob is a large group of people who assemble suddenly in a public place, perform an unusual action for a brief time, then quickly disperse. The term flash mob is generally applied only to gatherings organized via telecommunications, social media, or viral emails. Here is a good example of a flash mob that was video’d a top 14th floor building.
The crowd at the Oprah taping in Chicago did a special flash mob dance to the Black Eyed Peas live performance of the song, “I Gotta Feeling.” The group dance on the Michigan Avenue in downtown Chicago was really cool to see from the Tribune Tower’s 14th floor. This is for Oprah’s 24th Season Kickoff Party.
Here is the rehearsal of choreographed dance at Oprah’s 2009 Kick-Off Party on Michigan Ave. on Sept. 8, 2009.
This was a video that became viral last May 2009
