In my attempt to research remote controls, I stumbled over a ton of interesting facts. To put them all into one single article would just make the article way too long and boring so I will spare you of all that. Instead, I will continue my series of remote control articles with this one. Do you know where the remote controls origins are by any chance? Not that I did either, but that doesn’t really matter. It’s not what you would think it is.
As a matter of fact, it has nothing to do with technology at all. Nope, it’s purely emotional, and here’s where it all gets a bit tricky. It’s a delicate topic even. Not that anyone of you wouldn’t understand a joke or two, but it’s one of the best ones I think I have seen here on Bit Rebels to be honest.
What you are looking at (or have for the last 3 minutes while reading this) is actually the first remote control ever invented. Two images, a good idea and a bit of humor are all that it takes really to make something viral. We’ve seen it over and over again. I had trouble even writing this article due to all the laughing. Genius! Don’t you think?
