Jaw Dropping Real Life Wall-E Robot

For fans of the movie Wall-E, your dreams have become a reality. The lovable waste collecting robot made such an impact in the 2008 release that these two fans decided to attempt to make their own functioning prototypes.

First up is Michael, aka n2citrus and a member of the Wall-E Builders Group, who built tracks to look and move just like Wall-E. These look awesome, and it must be so much fun to play around with them.

All I can tell you about the next Wall-E robot designer is that he is an unknown Russian technologist. He built what is referred to as a “case mod” (a case modification is the modification of a computer chassis).

He spent months perfecting this to come up with a functioning design that will blow away all of you movie geeks out there! He even added a little twist to the usual construction by adapting an existing computer into the Wall-E unit complete with a CD tray. Have you spotted any other good examples of case mods? Drop me an email or leave a comment with links, and I’ll feature them in a future article on Bit Rebels!
