Killingest Retro Arcade Coffee Table Ever Made

There are things I want, and then there are things I truly desire. Being a geek is kind of hard if your wallet isn’t Bill Gates size. When you work for Bit Rebels, you are constantly faced with the latest and greatest geek stuff from all around the world. It’s sometimes hard to keep writing about things when I know that I will never be able to afford them. I mean, who buys a gummy bear lamp for about $2,000 and then feel good about it? That just doesn’t happen, at least not within the group of people I know. Nope, that money goes towards the necessary and important things, which there are a lot of. It never seems to stop.

Today I stumbled over something that I almost couldn’t resist researching further and deeper. It is one of the most beautiful creations I have ever seen, and it even looked better than any mass-produced product in history (they usually do when they are hand-crafted). What I am talking about is THE one most uber awesome and retro arcade coffee table ever made. It’s one of those creations that you just have to look at, have to try, and definitely have to have!

It’s created by the guys over at Surface Tension, and I wish I knew if it was available for purchase because I would save whatever I could save for a hundred years to get one. It’s downright spectacular for lack of a better word. You just open it up and voila, there you have your very own arcade machine in the right height, right in front of you, and the retro feel cannot be mistaken. There are compartments for your mouse, keyboard… and pretty much everything a geek could ever need. Period! This is something that every geek should have in their living room. It’s just THAT awesome!
