When I first heard about a laptop with wood keyboard keys, my instant thought was that anything wooden on a computer wouldn’t look right, but after looking at these pictures, I see it makes for a really interesting and unique keyboard.

These wood keyboard keys were created by Raw BKNY. Each one is actually an overlay for your standard MacBook Pro keys. They are designed in such a way that the backlight for each key still shines through. They come in two colors. The dark ones are made from rosewood, and the light ones are made from bamboo. You’ll have to hand-install each wooden key overlay yourself. The entire set sells for $40.

The attention to detail on these wood keyboard keys is impeccable. Even the caps lock key comes with a little cutout so the light can shine through. You can see some of the pictures of the manufacturing process below. The only thing I’m not sure about is how easily these keys would snap into place.
