Princess Leia Baby Robe & Hat: Let Your Baby Girl Go Geek

Who says cosplay is just for adults? Just because your baby can’t talk, it doesn’t mean he or she doesn’t want to get in on the costume fun, especially if your baby is a fan of Star Wars. I remember when I wrote about the Yoda Baby Hat about a year ago. Do you think having a baby just to have an excuse to buy that hat would be a bad thing? I think I just need to go to more baby showers. For all the geeky baby girls out there, I have another cute costume for you to drool over (literally) until your mom and dad buy it for you. This is the baby Princess Leia robe and hat made especially for you.

Now your baby can see what it feels like to be a strong, heroic, rebel leader (not that she doesn’t already rule your house). Leia Organa was a legend in her time, and she accomplished a lot in her young age, just like your baby girl will. This authentic looking Princess Leia robe and hat were both made by Elizabeth Nelson, and they each sell separately in her geekabyebaby Etsy store. The robe is $45 and comes in all different kiddie sizes. The crocheted buns hat is $25.

If you are feeling extra adventurous, you could even make your own Princess Leia robe and hair buns by following the directions on DIY Princess Leia Robe: So Easy Even A Wookie Could Make It. Amy at Fashionably Geek wrote, “Help me, Obi-Wan Kenobi, you’re my only hope to not die of cuteness.” I have to agree. This little costume will not only teach your baby girl the ways of the force before she can talk, but it will also make her the most beautiful princess in the galaxy.
