Sküüzi: Badass Beer Glove For Them Cold Days

Even though there hasn’t been too much snow this year, at least not here in Sweden, the weather has still been cold and damp. It’s far from the heat that exposed itself to us during the summer when all we could do was to chill down with an ice cream or a beer on a Friday. Enjoying a beer now, at least outside, would probably freeze our fingers off and the whole enjoyment of that beer would be completely lost. It’s times like these, especially today when we are celebrating the upcoming new year in just a few hours, that we could really use some innovation and some cleverness to come up with something to save this situation.

That is exactly what the inventor of the Sküüzi has done, and it will most likely revolutionize outside beer drinking in an increasingly geeky way. The Sküüzi is actually a knitted glove whose only purpose is to enable us to enjoy a cold beer, outside in the cold, without having to freeze our hands off. This way, we can hold it in whatever weather we like. If the beer is super chilled with liquid nitrogen, that is no problem either. All you need to worry about is holding the beer straight so you won’t spill it. I am sure we can all handle that, right?

The glove, which sells for around $30, is the perfect party accessory. If you thought you would have to be alone wearing it, think again. The makers of the glove actually have a couple of discounted packages where you can get 4 or 12 gloves for a cheaper price. Now you can enjoy that party outside no matter what kind of weather it is. If not, this could be the perfect birthday gift for your college friend. Let the party begin… and don’t forget, bring your gloves, we’re partying on top of the world today! Mount Everest is the destination!
