Most of the time when we write about Lego fashions, they are outrageous designs that we would never actually wear. Although these Lego wigs, Lego stilettos and Lego dresses are so geeky they make me giddy, I don’t think I’d wear any of them, would you? They would be fun to display, but that’s about it. This handbag though is a whole different thing (we call them “pocketbooks” here in the South). I would carry this with pride every day if I owned it.
This Lego clutch is made entirely of Lego bricks. Whoa! I love it. This is the kind of thing that you can take to any party because there is almost no chance you’ll run into someone else who has the same purse.
Etsy user agabag creates these purses one at a time, and they are fabulous. Each one is unique in its own way since each one of the Lego bricks is hand-placed in just the right spot. You can order one of these in agabag’s Etsy store for $120, which seems like a small price to pay for something so special and labor-intensive. You can even request your favorite color of Lego bricks to be incorporated into your purse. I think I would order one with all different colors. I mean, how could you just choose one Lego color when there are so many? You could even carry this bag while wearing a matching piece of Lego jewelry like some earrings or a bracelet. On the other hand, maybe not. When it comes to every day Lego fashion, there is a fine line between geeky and cheesy, and we wouldn’t want you to cross it.
