Tintin Joins The Mashup Lineup With Alien, Tron & More

Here we are again making sure that you are exposed to the latest in concept mashups. If you are a frequent visitor to Bit Rebels, you know it has become one of our cornerstones to off the various insanities. However, this time, we are not going to venture into charted territory. Nope, we are going where no one has gone before, and the things these concepts have in common could probably be counted on less than five fingers. The hype is right on time since Steven Spielberg is finishing up the first Tintin movie in what looks to become a series of them. Even Peter Jackson is contracted to do the third Tintin movie, and according to our guess, they should be nothing less than spectacular with these movie legends looking over the projects.

However, we’re not here to talk about movie history in the making. We are here to talk about the unmatchable mashups of Tintin and a few other quite famous movies. Designer and illustrator Hipp (yeah, it’s one of the hippest aliases in a while) doodled a few original posters for your entertainment, and I am sure you will find them quite mesmerizing in nature. Why? Well, because they are so far fetched that they actually become concepts that you would really wanna see on the big screen.

Tintin beamed himself into mega movies like Alien, Tron and Star Wars, and I would almost do anything just to get a few of these posters to hang on my wall here at the office. The look on people’s faces when they come to visit would just be unbeatable. I just hope that Hipp continues his journey into uncharted territories and creates more of these quite stunning and wonderful Tintin posters. He certainly has time on his side since the first Tintin movie is scheduled for release late 2011.
