A thought crossed my mind this morning. We’re all so obsessed by the fact that we have to optimize things and progress faster than everyone else. I certainly know how it feels to always try to be on top of your game as competition can be quite fierce in this business. Well, what if you want to procrastinate? What if all you want is to take a few more extra minutes doing things that you are not really supposed to? Where can you learn how to procrastinate?
If you are in need of a little bit more procrastination in your life, then you have come to the right place. In this article, I am not going to bother you with optimization tips or even push you to perform better or harder. Heck, if you want to skip through to the end of the article then by all means, please do so, no need to read my blabbering, procrastinate and read that later. It’s all good this article is meant to help you take back your life, to take back your “me”-time if you will.
To continuously wrap your head around work, obstacles and problems is what makes a lot of people walk on the edge between happiness and depression. It’s time to push things back a bit and enjoy life for what it is and what you can do with it. There is so much that we would rather do, and a lot of that is mentioned and depicted in this article which you should honestly read as you procrastinate and put off something else.
College Humor has gotten it right when they recently published this insanely hilarious and somewhat useful little infographic called How To Get Nothing Done: An Illustrated Guide. It’s one of those rare views of reality that I can’t help but be mesmerized by. We are only human and sometimes when we procrastinate it’s a way to build up our energy to go for our goals, problems and future one more time. It’s not bad it just takes time, time we don’t always have, but who cares, right? Procrastinate like a boss and live life as a rebel. That’s what we say!
