We’ve all seen and heard of animals doing incredible things. The geek in me always tries to analyze it. Are they doing what we consider amazing because it’s a learned behavior? After all, they are getting praise and treats. Why else would an animal paint? Is it possible that he would just appreciate that activity? The woman in this video says her dog paints to relax. That can’t be true, right? I’m not sure.
Either way, I was astonished at the dolphin, elephant and horse that can all three paint better than me. You can read about them here. Today, it’s all about a painting Pekingese named Ziggy.
Not only is Ziggy an abstract artist, he has his own fan club and even sells his paintings for up to $250 each. In the video below, you’ll see that he has creative bursts just like the rest of us. He often paints a few strokes and then walks away for a rest or drink of water. You are such a gifted dog Ziggy!
