When you think about it, it’s kind of strange that cats are so popular on the Internet. What’s so special about them? I know they’re cute and all, but they even have a whole day dedicated to them. Caturday is becoming more popular every week, and even though I’m not a cat person, I’ve even written an article to celebrate Caturday.
To switch it up a little, I thought it was time to write an article to give thanks to all the dogs in our lives. For those of you who have a dog, your pup probably loves you, is loyal to you, and makes you smile every day of the week. Mary, who is a mostly blind rescue dog, sits with me every day while I write my articles. I can’t imagine her not being here.
I have learned as much about life from animals (especially dogs) as I have from people throughout my lifetime, and if you love your dog as much as I love mine, give him or her a little pat on the head and an extra bone today to show your appreciation. I found these touching pictures showing the loyalty of dogs on We Rule The Internet, but there were no photo credits so I can’t link to the proper owners of these pictures. Either way, I hope these heartwarming images remind you of how lucky we are to have a special dog in our lives. If you want to see some more precious pups, just click over to The Hounds And The Hills which is one of my favorite posts by my Twitter friend Paul Steele.
