It seems eating healthier is at the forefront of so many people’s minds now more than ever. With KFC’s Double Down sandwich and rumors of McDonald’s nasty habits hitting the evening news, fast food chains are taking more of a beating than ever. I can’t help but wonder if this is just the new lifestyle of the moment or if we really are finally reaching a paradigm shift when it comes the food we put in our bodies.
While some people just complain about the fast food options, one company is doing something about it. Colette, a French retailer known for their very innovative and creative concepts, recently designed and produced a “Colette Lunchbox,” an idea conceived by Lisa Kajita & Dryce. This ubber hip and trendy lunch, packaged like a familiar fast food lunch, contains finger foods (just like fast food) that are healthy alternatives. This is like a little healthy happy meal!
This lunch contains a guacamole tofu burger with sliced zucchini and lemon topped with pumpkin seeds, fresh carrots, sugar snaps and corn with sesame dressing, Swiss chocolate with almonds and vitamin water. If you happen to be in Paris, you can purchase this lunchbox at Water Bar Colette. It’s also available for delivery in the 1st arrondissement (also in Paris). This is so cute! I wish this was available in Atlanta, I would go buy it for lunch today.
