12 Bloggers & Authors Doodle Writing Advice On Their Hands [12 Pics]

We publish a lot of content here on Bit Rebels. We spend several hours writing everyday, 365 days a year. One of the interesting things about blogging is that even though there are many millions of bloggers in the world, and we’re all digitally connected, writing articles can be a lonely activity. What I mean is, we are usually alone when we write. Sometimes that can make it tough to get motivated. I thought this writing advice was really inspiring, and it might motivate you to update your blog today.

Whether you write articles for a blog, or you are a best-selling author of a book series, it all starts at the same place. It all starts with a computer keyboard and an idea, and it builds from there. I’ve never written an article for any other blog than Bit Rebels, and I was evaluating my own stats today. I’ve written 3,420 articles. At an average of 425 words per article, that’s 1,453,500 words. If the average novel is 100,000 words, that means I’ve written the equivalent of almost 15 novels. Suddenly I feel smart, or like I need to get a life, I’m not sure which one.

The point is, we can all use some writing advice every now and then. The hands you see below are part of the Hand in Hand project by Shared Worlds. The purpose of the project is to remind writers that they are not alone. There are other people in the world right now who are sitting behind a keyboard, trying to think of what to type next.

As you can see, each one of the authors and bloggers wrote their writing advice on their own hands. Please click over to Shared Worlds to see the entire collection, and to see which author goes with which hand. I hope this gives you the inspiration and motivation you need to update your own blog today!
