21 Types Of Content Your Readers Crave [Chart]

There are so many things to consider when you launch your personal blog or your brand’s blog. Although setting up a blog is super easy, and you can do it in less than an hour, that is just the beginning. We’ve written dozens of articles about things to remember during the process. At the end of the day though, it comes down to your content, or more accurately, the types of content you publish. This is a list of 21 types of content your visitors crave (and love to read).

This chart called The Content Marketers Essential Guide To: The 21 Types Of Content We All Crave covers the most popular types of content we all enjoy. Scott Aughtmon, the creator of this chart, points out that these are the types of content that we never get tired of, we always have time for, we don’t forget and we want to share with others.

Of course, it’s not necessary to incorporate more than one of these content types into each post. I think I’ve personally written posts that fall into each one of these categories. I don’t usually “tell stories” since our posts are pretty short here on Bit Rebels, but all the others I know I’ve covered. What about you?

The next question is, how can you incorporate these into your blogging strategies? That detail is one of the things that separates talented bloggers from average bloggers. It’s the ability to weave a post that captures your reader’s attention while still staying in your niche. Once you have mastered that, you’ll be able to inspire and influence your readers. They will look forward to reading your posts, and you’ll be able to take them on the journey with you. That’s when you’ll start building a steady stream of return visitors.
