4 Things Everyone Needs To Know About YouTube

YouTube is one of the most visited websites right now. It doesn’t matter who you are; it doesn’t matter where you live, it doesn’t matter which age group you belong to, if you use the internet, you might have used YouTube at least once.

But there is a difference between using YouTube and getting the most out of it. Every website has some tricks hidden up its sleeve, which is only known to the most avid users. In this article, I am going to highlight four ways you can get the most out of YouTube.

Create GIFs From Videos

One of YouTube’s most creative features is that you can convert any part of the video into a GIF. With just a simple URL trick, you can download GIFs right now. To do that, go to the YouTube website and start watching the video you want to convert into a GIF.

Once you have begun watching the video, just hover over to the URL bar and add the word “gif” right before the domain like www.gifyoutube.com/[your video tag]. It will take you to gifs.com, where you can crop the GIF and download it.

Download YouTube Videos

Where YouTube is the best platform for watching videos and listening to your favorite songs, most people don’t know that they can convert video to audio converter online and download stuff right from YouTube to their computer.

All you have to do is to open the YouTube video that you want to download, copy its link, paste it in the online video converter, and click the download button. You can also select the format in which you want to download your video, which is a huge plus.

Read Transcripts Of Videos

A lot of times, you might be watching a video, but also need to see the transcript of the dialogues being said inside the video. Well, YouTube automatically generates transcripts of every video on their website, if the uploader allows it.

For example, if there is a quote that you liked from a video that you want to write down, you can simply click the more button and go to the transcript option. However, if you don’t see the transcript in more, the uploader might not have given access to it.

Create Your Own Playlists

Last but not least, one of my favorite features of YouTube is that it lets you create playlists, which can be easily organized and shared. Just like Spotify and iTunes, you can make a playlist of your favorite songs so that you can listen to them without much trouble. If you want to add a video to a playlist, click the save button above the subscribe option and go to create a new playlist.

From there, you can make a playlist by entering its name and choosing its privacy. Once you have made a playlist, you can add any video to it by following the same procedure and saving videos to the playlist you want.
