CloudFlare: Most Innovative Company According to TechCrunch

Have you heard of CloudFlare yet? They won the award for the most innovative company at TechCrunch’s Disrupt Conference this year. According to the press release, “CloudFlare’s service brings the performance and security tools previously reserved for the Internet giants to the rest of the web.”

On average, a website on CloudFlare loads 30% faster, uses 60% less bandwidth, has 65% fewer requests and is way more secure. What’s the best part? All of this is free.

Right now, they are one of the companies to watch. Currently, they have about two new websites sign up for their service every minute. How does it work? In a nutshell, they make a small change to the DNS, and that’s it. It all takes about five minutes to set up. Check out the video below for a more detailed look at this new evolving web service that seems to be capturing everyone’s attention.
