Facebook Security: Simple Guide To Staying Safe [Infographic]

As social media gets ever more crowded and hackers and crackers are lurking around in pretty much every corner, you should keep up with safety measures in order to keep your account clean from malware and evil doers. It’s not easy I know, but with a few recommendations, you will find that it’s not as hard as you might think it would be. It really boils down to common sense and a little bit of precaution. There are a few things you could do to secure your place on the Internet that you’re most fond of. With such a huge part of the world’s population now sporting a Facebook account, it pretty much goes without saying that Facebook is where we most likely want to spend a large portion of our time when we’re online. Therefore, it makes perfect sense to secure your account properly.

Check Point has long studied the effects of hacked Facebook accounts, and they decided to put together a useful mini-guide on how you can make your account as secure as humanly possible. Sure, it would be nice to have a selection in the settings that said “Secure My Sh-t” but the world is a little bit more complicated than that, so we’ll have to take just a little bit longer route to get to our goal.

By following these recommendations, you will probably gain one of the most secure Facebook accounts out there. So, looking through this little sheet of security measures might actually do you good even though it might take 5 minutes out of your day. What more can you ask for than securing your stuff by just reading an infographic? I would think it’s a pretty good deal, right? But then again, we’re living in quite a hectic world, so scanning through it might just be enough. #StaySecure
