Do you like watching videos? Do you often watch YouTube videos that are in batches? It can be a drag sometimes when you need to watch them one video at a time. What if there was an application that would allow you to simply look for the videos you want to watch, drag and drop them onto the editing app and then watch the videos and share them with your friends?
The application is called Dragon Tape. Dragontape is a webapp that enables you to create mixtapes of your favorite online videos, so you can watch them as a continuous show. The tapes you create are accessed through a single URL, so you can easily share with friends or embed them in a webpage. The source clips remain in their original locations, Dragontape simply remembers where to find them.
I included the demo video here so you can see how easy it is. I think it’s great that we have developers out there making sure that we have tools available online that allow us to experience technology in its simplest form. Very cool! What do you think?
