Instant Photo Viewing With The Instagram Instacube

Instagram is huge at the moment. The final deal between Facebook and Instagram was just announced and everyone is pumped to see what Facebook will do with their photo sharing and editing site. There’s no doubt it will become even more popular for photo editing and networking in the future now that Facebook is about to hit 1 billion users soon. Innovation when it comes to gadgets focused around Instagram have been exponential to say the least. We have seen a ton of imaginary gadgets that have gone swooshing by our screens, but now it’s time to take a look at a real one. It’s a gadget that will enable instant photo sharing on your photo frame at home.

It’s currently being developed by a company called D2M, and it is a product aimed at everyone who considers their Instagram photos to be the pinnacle of cool. Their invention is called the Instacube, and it is an instant photo frame with Wi-Fi technology. It will connect to one or several accounts and show pictures without having to pre-load them. It even has the functionality to push new photos from you or your friends whenever they are uploaded and shared. The name is perfect for a frame that supports instant photo viewing from Instagram.

It’s the ultimate instant photo frame, and I am quite excited about. It has a 600 x 600 pixel touchscreen and runs on Android. It has 4 GB of storage and 256 MB of RAM. There’s no doubt this will become a hugely popular product when it comes out of development. Currently D2M is looking for funding over at Kickstarter, so if you feel this would be something you would want in your home, head over there and pledge. With over 29 days left, the fundraising for this instant photo frame already seems to be on its way to success. Instagram + technology = a total win.  We here at Bit Rebels are sure of it.
