Memoto: Lifelogging Micro Camera That Documents Your Life

Blogging has become a huge success on the Internet, and it is starting to become an extension of business that many people are eager to try out. It’s not the easiest of tasks to take a simple WordPress installation to global website success, that’s for sure. But with some clever gadgets, you might just reinvent things enough to make people start visiting your website over and over again. It’s all about presenting new and interesting content that encourages people to come back for more. I know, it takes time to write one or more blog posts each day, but what if you had a way to do it automatically and without a single word having to be typed? Intrigued? That’s where the Memoto lifelogging micro camera comes into the picture.

It’s another brilliant Kickstarter project that has garnered huge media coverage already. It’s a simple concept that could change the way we upload pictures to the Internet for a lot of people. I doubt we’ll see mobile photography dying down anytime soon, but this micro camera might just optimize things a little for the people who just want to snap a little gadget on to their shirt, walk around, and have their gadget do all the work automatically.

The Memoto micro camera has a 5 megapixel camera that takes two images each minute and uploads them to your computer automatically. I am sure you can specify where you want to upload your images (hopefully you can even upload them to the Internet) since the device is wireless and ready to go. There could be many practical uses for this kind of camera. It could be used for security as well as for lifelogging (which of course is its main feature) and a whole lot more. At the current time, the Memoto lifelogging micro camera is looking to raise $50,000 in order to make an initial 1,000 of these awesome gadgets. The twist is that with 11 days to go, they have already raised over $490,000. That is utterly insane and tells us just how popular this thing is. You can pledge $249 now and receive your Memoto with a $30 discount. Yup, the listing price for this puppy will be $279 when it’s finally in production.
