Pocket Printer For Photographers Now A Reality From LG

And so it has finally arrived! It’s the one thing that all photographers on the road wish they had access to pretty much on a daily basis. When you’ve taken a great photograph, it’s likely you’ll want to print it out and put it in a scrapbook or give it to someone you love. In the past, that has ultimately been impossible out in the field. You would have probably had to go back home and print it out on a piece of photo paper using your laser jet color printer or something like that. Luckily, technology moves forward constantly, and LG recently announced that they now have a pocket printer which will enable you to print your photos anywhere and anytime you feel like it. That should come as insanely welcome news to all the hardcore mobile photographers out there.

It is called the Pocket Photo, and it is an on-the-go photo printing solution that has never been available before. It is the world’s smallest picture printer, and many people say it is going to be a huge success. It prints photos that measure 2.8 × 4.7 × 0.9 inches, and you connect to it using either NFC, Bluetooth or USB via an Android app. The app even has a cool image editor which you can use to refine, add messages and QR codes, or even put filters on your photos to make them look even better.

It will initially be released in Korea, and it will cost about $169.00. There is no word yet about when this pocket printer will be released in the U.S. or in the rest of the world. However, knowing the insane demand for a gadget like this, I wouldn’t be surprised if the pocket printer will be available shortly after its release in Korea and Asia. This is one of those awesome gadgets that I wish that I could get my hands on to try out. A lot of its awesomeness depends on the printing quality because one thing everyone knows is never to trust the advertisement pictures when it comes to the quality of the prints from a printer. However, this pocket printer seems totally legit, and I will keep my eyes open for it.
