The talent the girl in this video has with her tongue definitely gets the WTF award of the day. One reason surfing the Internet is so much fun for me is because it’s the land of the one-uppers. Everyone is all about one-upping everyone else. It seems the goal is to be the fastest, strongest, craziest, skinniest, most advanced, most unusual, most innovative, etc… For ordinary people like me, it’s fun to just sit back and watch it all happen in lightening speed each day.
Just for a moment, forget about all the technology companies out there that are in epic battles to create our next dream gadget. I want to show you a girl that will rock your world way more than any of that stuff. She has taken what we normally see with tongue tricks to infinity and beyond. Talk about one-upping. Dang girl! You go!
I remember back in 2009 when I wrote about how to tie a cherry stem with your tongue. It’s a classic little trick that almost every cosmo-girl knows how to do, right? Well forget all that now that Datev Gallagher has one-upped us all to the tenth power. She makes doing the cherry stem trick look like something a toddler could do. Datev (Dat) takes a Starburst candy wrapper, puts it in her mouth, and makes a little origami crane in less than one minute. WTF!!! I know, the first thing that comes to your mind is that this is a fake, right? It could be, but I don’t think it is fake and let me explain why.
First of all, do you see the cameraman? That is Charles Trippy from Internet Killed Television. He has worked very hard and has been on YouTube for a long time, like five years at least. We’ve featured his videos before on Bit Rebels. I just don’t think he would risk ruining his reputation over filming a fake like this. The second reason I think this is real is because he says he is going to film a second video of her doing this to prove it’s legit. Hmm… I will wait to see that one. In the meantime, you rock Dat. This is unfreakingunbelievable! Just for shits and giggles, I included a crazy little tongue infographic below for you also. Dang, after this post, I am never going to think of tongues the same way again.
