12 Most Unbelievable Ripped Skin Tattoos

There are a ton of different designs you can choose from when you set out to get a tattoo. Why people choose the ones they do is as personal as why they wear the kind of clothes they do. It’s just a matter of individual taste. Just like with clothes, there are trends that play a part when people pick their tattoo designs. For example, for a while there was a trend to get a sun on the lower back for females, while demons and dragons have been a trend for guys for a very long time. It all depends on what you want to get of course, but I am sure that tattoo artists, like some Orlando tattoo shops, see these trends quite clearly when they happen. When it comes to the more “unconventional” tattoo designs, it seems the torn or ripped skin tattoos are becoming quite popular.

The interesting thing is that they are getting more and gorier by the hour. Just have a look at this collection of ripped skin tattoos that I put together. They’re the 12 best ripped skin tattoos out there, and I totally have to agree that from an artist’s perspective, they are really well done.

Would I get one myself? I think not! With the fear of grossing out pretty much everyone on a beach, for example, I would rather stay off the needle when it comes to these kinds of designs. The shading is what does it though. Getting that right is what will pull of the effect of the skin actually being peeled or ripped off the body, letting the underlying design show through. Which one would you go for and which one grosses you out the most?
