Oh how we love the Nintendo and Commodore 64 8Bit graphics. It made us to what we are today and it started right there and then. All of it! I can’t imagine what I would have done today if it wasn’t for Nintendo and Commodore 64. I was fanatic about it’s gorgeous graphics and I just couldn’t stop investigating their power myself by coding my own little demos in assembler and in sound trackers together with my best friend David.
We were playing Populous half the time and half the time we just messed around with the assembler. Imagine my enthusiasm when I saw that there had been an 8Bit Video Game Art gallery in Hollywood, Los Angeles. Unfortunately I couldn’t be there live but this clip made my day! Ahh, the memories!!
