Anychair: You Won’t Get Any Work Done With This Chair!

I dare to say I am not exactly known for my many hours of sleep, quite the opposite really. Even though usually I would really like to sleep more, I don’t sleep much. But then again, why sleep when there is so much to be inspired about in the world? I envy the people that get their 8 hours of sleep each night and wake up all rested and ready to create miracles. However, for people who can’t keep their eyes open even if their life depended on it (believe me there are those people, lol), their thoughts have probably wondered across the spectrum of solutions. Somewhere on top of the list, I am sure that a new chair is a thought that might do the trick to stay awake.

However, if the chair in question is Anychair from Thanko, I can say with confidence that there won’t be much work at all getting done in your office. The fact that you can angle the chair into a bed-like position is probably not a good selling point if you’re trying to sell the the idea to your boss. I think I read somewhere that in Asia they have nap time during their workdays to make sure they do an even better job when they are awake.

That idea hasn’t even been brought up here in Sweden, or in Europe, I am sure. The thought of sleeping at the office is for most a bad idea because they are sure they won’t be able to wake up after 30 minutes of sleep and even if they did, they wouldn’t manage to work the rest of the day. However, for the home office, especially when you’re a designer, this chair comes in handy to say the least. All you have to do is to cough up the $600 plus shipping, and you’ll have everything you’ll ever need right at the face of your computer. Geek life is certainly not ordinary.
