Creative Use Of Key Characters In An Office Redesign [6 Pics]

We have featured a couple of insanely creative and inspiring technology offices around the world, and they usually sport things taken straight from the early ’80s. If it isn’t a room full of retro consoles for relaxation and festivities, it’s some kind of artwork on a wall somewhere that constantly reminds us that creativity isn’t in the result of our work but in the imagination of our mind. With creativity comes success, but it should never be the main focus when talking about creativity. Inspiration is ultimately important for a company that is always fighting the latest thing that most companies on the Internet usually are.

ZEK is built up of 8 people with skills far beyond the normal scope of your regular resumé. They create everything from odd books (not suitable for work) to awesome office designs to inspire workers to produce and get creative in a whole new way. They recently redesigned the office of 3fs, and it is everything but boring really. By using stencils of keyboard characters and buttons, they managed to create the ultimate geek hangout.

They were literally plastered all over the place and in every room. They were even in the bathroom to make sure the geekiness of these guys came across immediately if any clients enter that domain. The most impressive addition to their office must really be the Pong game reference in the conference room though. It’s doesn’t get more geeky and retro than that, and you can be sure when you are in there to talk about the company’s future, you can feel the inspiration flowing. Retro is the new trend, and I suspect it will definitely be around for a while. Retro is getting bigger and bigger and where it will end… only the future will tell.
