Do You Have What It Takes To Be A Graphic Designer? [Flowchart]

With each article we publish about becoming a graphic designer, there is always a thought in the back of my mind that’s asking, “How does a person know if he or she is fit to be a graphic designer in the first place?” It’s a tricky question, and one that probably takes experience to answer, if you know what I mean. You basically have to try being a graphic designer first in order to determine whether or not you are fit to work as one. Now the question is, are you?

We have published a lot of articles about becoming a graphic designer, and also what’s it’s like to be one. There are a lot of negative and positive aspects of the job, and they are worth looking into if you’re thinking about having a go at it. It takes education, experience and a whole lot of mistakes to become a good one though. I guess that is something you should keep in the back of your mind when you first set out to take on the world with your clever designs.

With the help of a pretty hilarious flowchart, you can now determine within minutes whether or not you are fit for this highly creative profession or not. All you basically have to do is follow the flowchart to the end, wherever it may take you, and you will have your answer. You might not like the answer you are given, but you will have a hilarious time finding your way to the answer you are seeking.

Maybe you are already a well known and successful graphic designer, and what if you fail the test anyways? Are you just a lucky fluke in the complex system of creativity? Well, at least you will know whether you are fit to become a graphic designer by the end of the flowchart.
