An Inspiring Rainbow Bridge To Color Your Day [10 Pics]

Wow, this is so beautiful. This is one of those things that I wish so much I could see in real life. It’s going on my bucket list for sure. At first, I thought this rainbow bridge was only in Taiwan. The Xiying Rainbow Bridge in Penghu is world famous. However, then I read that there is also a rainbow bridge in Tokyo. Maybe it’s the same bridge. Since it only takes an hour to fly in a plane from China to Japan, it could be one in the same. Maybe it was once part of Japan, and now it’s part of China, I’m just not 100% sure. I’m hoping some of our readers will clarify this. Regardless of the exact geographical location of this inspiring bridge, it’s beautiful beyond words, even in these pictures.

According to Shock Blast, “The Xiying Rainbow Bridge is an elevated pedestrian walkway located in Magong, Penghu County in Taiwan. The bridge is lined with a thin neon band that relects onto the water’s surface below at night.” It’s basically an incredible light installation. The thing is, as you see in the pictures below, it’s just as beautiful during the day as it is at night.

I have a thing for bridges. I’ve driven over some of the highest bridges in the world, and over some of the lowest. Earlier this year when I drove over the bridge into Destin (a beach in the gulf of the United States), the tide was so high it was almost covering the bridge itself. The goal was to drive across the bridge before the water hit the car. Other bridges are so high they feel like you’re driving on a roller coaster. I’ve never driven over a rainbow bridge before though. It kind of looks like Rainbow Road (Mario Kart). I hope to see this fabulous bridge in real life someday. The colors are as beautiful as a real rainbow. If you’d like to see another inspiring rainbow installation, check out the Rainbow Ghosts Inside The Bronson Caves.
