Yet again we cover something made of paper. It’s not exactly the first time, but I can honestly and with a promise say that you have never seen anything like this before. The creativity that goes into something like this is just amazing, and it will wrinkle every fabric of your brain trying to figure out how it’s done to make it so realistic. The lifelike creatures, the details, and the fact that it’s all made out of paper doesn’t make the whole thing less mind boggling.
The couple Allen and Patty Eckman have been creating paper craft sculptures since back in 1987, and they have gotten darn good at it. I have seen and written a handful of articles about paper craft by now, and none of them even come close to the cleanliness and über creative molding of these paper sculptures.
I think it’s safe to say that we will have to wait a long time before we will see something that surpasses these works of wonder. Head on over to their website to check out a few more interesting and totally insane sculptures that these people have crafted from nothing other than their genius minds. I wonder if they use more paper than a normal family per year… that’s something to think about. Environmental thinking people, environmental thinking!
