What do you do if you are in the mood for a puzzle but can’t find anything challenging enough? What if you want it to be massive yet brilliantly simple with a complicated twist? If you are Thomas Pavitte, you create your own puzzle just the way you like it.
You may have seen the name Thomas Pavitte before. He has a reputation for creating unusual, inspiring art. This time, he created his own connect-the-dots puzzle. In typical Thomas fashion, it couldn’t be just any connect-the-dots drawing; it had to be the best! That’s exactly what he created. His own version of Mona Lisa in the form of this puzzle is the world’s largest connect-the-dots puzzle ever recorded.
I used to do these puzzles from the backseat of the car on road trips when I was a little girl. They usually consisted of connecting about 25 dots to form a dog or a clown. This monstrosity below has 6,239 dots and took Thomas 9.5 hours to complete. You can view the whole project over at Behance, or you can watch this time-lapse video of Thomas putting it all together. Dang, now that’s what I call a puzzle! :)
