Restaurant City or Cafe’ World? #FaceBook Games

Another reason why majority of the people prefer FaceBook than the other social networking sites is because of the games that one can play with his or  her friends. Two games that are played on there is Cafe world and Restaurant City, friends often ask me which one is better.   It was pretty hard to answer because every user experience is different.  Plus their goals and aims as well as time that can be spent on a particular game must be considered.  Restaurant City has 18,041,515 monthly active users while Cafe World has 28,469,038 monthly active users and only been active for the past 3 months over taking the number of active users of Restaurant City.  Both applications are almost similar in the sense that you can customize your own place and invite friends to be neighbors and work for you.  Both are interactive but in different manner.

Here are some comparisons that you might want to check out:

• In Cafe World there are not much recipe’s to cook,  while in Restaurant city there maybe more menu options but the problem is that you would need to unlock ingredients before you can serve them.  This takes time and levels to climb in order to achieve.
• In Cafe World one actually mix the ingredients, chop veggies and meat or poultry, while in Restaurant City, you just watch the chef prepare the dishes and waiters to serve them.
• It is much easier to get coins and increase level on Cafe World.  The food you choose to cook has different corresponding points per recipe, while you only get paid 2 coins per serving on Restaurant City.
• Both games will require you to come back at certain time of the day.  For Cafe World you have to make sure that the food you cook is served at a certain period of time or else it will spoil.  For Restaurant City you need to come back to give your chefs and waiters food and time to rest or else they will fall down and not work making you lose points.
• Trading is so much better in Restaurant City.
