This is another one of those time warp articles that is sure to bend your brain a little bit, or at least it did mine. Artists often get creative when designing movie posters, and the ones we’ve featured on Bit Rebels in the past are simply brilliant. However, what if your favorite movies from the past decade were re-released around 50 or 60 years ago?
Pretend all those movies got in the TARDIS and went back in time to when your parents were young. Who would star in those movies? What would the movie posters look like? These two questions are exactly what Peter Stults attempted to answer in his creative collection below.
It’s so strange to see Inception, The Matrix, Terminator and Avatar all looking so retro. I only barely recognize the names of most of the actors and actresses. Peter did such a fabulous job with these posters. Everything from the font and the colors to how he made the paper look old is well put together. I can’t believe he cast Leonard Nimoy in Die Hard, Mick Jagger as James Bond and Al Pacino as Wolverine. That’s fabulous!
