12 Superhero’s Part Time Jobs That Fit Their Superpowers

In these harsh economic times, many people have taken on a second job to be able to sustain themselves. For a superhero, life is no different as many of them apparently have taken on other endeavors. Their part time jobs have allowed them to keep fighting crime yet not having to stand on the brink of ruin. Well, some of your favorite superheroes are in a different position than most, and that is what you will see when taking a look at them all further down in this article.

It is Malaysian illustrator Chow Hon Lam who has twisted up the world of superheroes a little in order to make them a little bit more “human” if you will. All seriousness aside, I think in the back of all of our minds we have somewhat thought what these superheroes might use those superpowers for when they are not fighting crime. It is particularly interesting now when all of these mega box office movies are bringing in truck-loads of cash. It doesn’t seem like these superheroes are very well paid despite their “cameos” on the silver screen. That they have to take up part time jobs in order to sustain their crime fighting habits should in itself be reason enough for a renegotiation with the movie studios, don’t you think?

Alright, don’t go thinking I am all serious or anything. These are some of the most hilarious superhero illustrations that we have seen in a while, and they do somewhat shake you up a little thinking. Should I get a part time job on top of my full time job in order to get a little bit of extra cash?

We think Chow has done a wonderful job expressing the harsh economic times we’re living in. Which one of these illustrations is your favorite and why? Oh, and of course, which one would you want to be? I can’t help but be a little disappointed that Iron Man doesn’t have a better job than his illustration depicts. Then it hits me, is he really a superhero? What’s his superpower? Being rich? Hmm, this is all so confusing! (lol)
