It’s been a long time since I covered anything about papercraft here on Bit Rebels. I was thinking about it this morning, and I decided to see if I could find something that was actually worthwhile to write about it. I think I might have found what could be the most intricate video game papercraft builds of all time. When video game papercraft goes this intricate, you know the builder (or the folder) is truly dedicated to his art and building skills.
Papercraft seems to be the calling for deviantART user Destro2k as these ultra-intricate builds seem to have no limit to how cool they can be. What’s apparent though is that Destro2k spent a whole lot of time putting these together. I mean, when you have 25 or more video game papercraft builds that are all as imaginative and epic as the ones this builder made, you know a lot of time has been spent to get it all just right.
In this particular collection, you will find 25 video game papercraft characters from games like Worms, Final Fantasy, Borderlands and a whole lot more. I am just amazed at the insane detail all of these video game papercraft creations have incorporated in them. Some of them could have even been 3D printed. I have no idea how they were created. I am sure some sort of software had to be used to plot the polygons. I don’t know if the polygons were assembled one by one, but it’s definitely something that I have to research. Maybe there is even an infographic about it that could be quite useful to people who want to get into this trade.
Behold these 25 video game papercraft builds and be amazed. I think it will take a while before we see anything that surpasses their intricate designs and impressive looks. This crafter could totally make these for sale as I think there would be a whole lot of gamers out there who would love to have their own video game papercraft figurine of their favorite game character. All in all, this is ultra impressive.
