Apple Shoes: Vintage Apple Sneakers From The Early ’90s

Depending on how old you are, you may not remember that Apple had a whole line of clothing and accessories back in the ’80s and early ’90s. Some of the vintage Apple clothing ads from back then seem bizarre now since we don’t associate Apple with stylish fashion unless it’s a piece of tech. That article didn’t feature any Apple shoes, but I stumbled across some today I wanted to share with you. These are some Apple shoes, or sneakers to be more exact, that are from the early ’90s. They are made from the typical white leather that sneakers from that era were made from (remember the white leather Reebok craze from the early ’90s?).

The reason you probably haven’t seen these Apple shoes before is because they weren’t sold to the public. They were only made available for Apple employees to buy. They of course have the rainbow Apple logo on them, which is what makes these so special. I’ve never seen a pair of these in person, but I’m sure someday a pair will show up on eBay or somewhere, and we’ll all have fun watching what someone is willing to pay for it.

Apple still offers clothes with their logo on it. As an Apple ACN, I get emails from Apple with a variety of shirts and other things they have available for purchase. I’ve never bought any of it, but I wonder if I should. If I do buy any, I’ll probably just put it in a box and keep it for a while. It’s the kind of thing that would be fun to pull out in ten or fifteen years and reminisce about.
