FlashPals: Data Storage Turned Into Cuddly Plush Companions

If you don’t know what a flash drive is by now, you really have been living under a rock for the last 10 years or so. Since memory cards can fit more ram and our storage is getting ever more infinite, there is a trend that has been going on for a while now where you can get a flash drive in pretty much any shape or model. Lately though, they have become a copy of a copy, and people tend to just pick up the ones that are plain and simple. Why is that? As soon as there is an abundance of choices, we go for what is the most boring? I will never understand that. There is something new that might poke your interest in the right way, and encourage you to take the leap into buying something a little bit more creative. They’re the new flash drives that are all about some cuddly plush companions.

This new concept called FlashPals is currently being developed, and even though it has been on Kickstarter for about 27 days, they still haven’t been able to hit their mark just yet. It’s kind of sad since they are really doing something that will totally make your boring memory stick a whole lot more fun. They have turned ordinary and boring flash drives into cuddly plush companions that would work great as a gift as well as for our own personal use. These flash drives can currently hold 4GB of content and will come in an array of different cuddly plush animals.

They are marketed as the cutest flash drives in the world, and I kind of have to agree. Even though this seems to be a simple trick to sell more flash drives and of course promote their concept, it’s not every day that you come across cuddly plush companions in the form of flash drives or memory sticks. These cuddly plush animal companions could definitely work on a global scale and make that working environment you’re constantly complaining about just a little bit more comfortable. If you think they deserve a chance, since they are seemingly endangered, head over to their Kickstarter page and pledge. For the first time in the history of Kickstarter, a company is not asking for a lot of money. They just want enough to get their project off the ground.
