Doctor Who TARDIS Inspired iPhone Charging Station

Oh my gosh, how cute is this? Now you can make your very own little Doctor Who TARDIS inspired iPhone charging station. Or, as I like to say, now you can make your iPhone its own TARDIS. It’s no so far-fetched really. We’ve written about people who have created a TARDIS for themselves, and others who have created a TARDIS for their cats, so why not create a TARDIS for your iPhone? I’m still trying to figure out the best way to get my own TARDIS, and I’m thinking about buying this Doctor Who TARDIS door decal so I can put it on my bathroom or closet door. That way I can feel like I’m stepping into a whole new world every time I go in there, but I’ve digressed…

If you decide to make this little TARDIS for your iPhone, you will not only create a safe little house for your phone while it’s charging, but you’ll also increase your geek cred by at least a few thousand percent. If I had this, I’d keep my phone in there all the time, even when it’s not charging.

This was made for Craft by Haley Pierson-Cox. You can get her full tutorial including a lot more pictures by clicking on the link below. It really doesn’t look that complicated. You’ll need a printer, a bunch of felt, some yarn and a couple of common household do-dads and you’ll be all set. You could even use this same method and pattern to create different styles of this. For example, you could make this as a little Frankenstein tomb for Halloween by just changing the color of felt. This would look so good on my desk. As a matter of fact, I could use two of them. After all, you can never have too much Doctor Who TARDIS stuff around the house, right?
