Epic LEGO Starcraft 2 Hyperion Battlecruiser

Another day, another epic Lego build to be revealed. When will it ever stop? Is it just me or are the Lego blocks getting smaller and smaller by the day? I know the smallest pieces are only one “dot,” but the detail in today’s epic builds are just becoming so mind boggling. I am sure the scale of the build has a lot to do with how much detail you can actually get in there. But it’s when you see stuff based on actual things that you start to wonder how the builder managed to cram so much awesomeness into his or her build. With all the different types of blocks that are available to us today, there is no limit to the creativity you can bring into a build it seems.

Take this Starcraft 2 Hyperion Battlecruiser for example. It’s a fairly detailed craft in the Starcraft 2 game that with the skills of a 3D modeler has been brought to life. However, converting it into a Lego build is something out of the ordinary. Sven Junga, the builder of this awesome spacecraft, has spared no blocks putting this together. It might be hard to appreciate the scale this thing prides itself on.

It’s built out of 15,000 Lego blocks, and if you start lining up the blocks you have available at home, and begin to count them, you quickly understand what kind of dedication must have gone into building this thing. I am sure the pictures of this badboy don’t even do it justice. A build of this scale should just be viewed in real life for one to fully appreciate the fine details and the insane planning it must have taken. Once again, we are in awe over here at Bit Rebels. This is definitely a showcase of dedication and imagination. Props!
