Every time I stumble over something that is beyond the scope of normal, I always get a little bit extra excited. Getting impressed these days is certainly not easy. The load of epic creations on the Internet is large in number, and it is increasing by the second. Everything from papercraft to Lego builds are constantly uploaded and shared, and people are commenting, liking and getting inspired to create even more epic creations just because of it. That is especially true when you’re talking about Lego. There is a battle going on out there that is seemingly never going to stop. It’s the battle to see who can create the most intricate and largest spaceship build on the planet.
It so happens that Battlestar Galactica is a huge inspiration source for this challenge, and with good cause. The ships in Battlestar Galactica are anything but boring and ordinary. They are perfect as inspiration for a Lego build, and you can see that when you look at what Garry King was able to put together. His build of the Valkyrie is astounding in more ways than one, and it should, at this present time, be the most intricate starship build ever conceived.
It weighs in at 110.9 pounds, and it is a mammoth to behold. The details are so intricate and the scale is so huge, that when viewed from just a little bit of distance, the whole thing looks like a miniature prop for a real movie. The details are exquisite and deliciously poured over in this magnificent build. There are so many impressive stats for this one build that I could have easily made this article a heck of a lot longer than it is. But, you’ll just have to look at this creation to understand that it’s not your usual Lego project jumbled together. It’s carefully planned, collected and put together into this awesome visual. If you want more data on this thing, just head over to Garry King’s website, and you will have your daily load of Lego data presented to you.
