How cool is this? You can never have too much of two things… Star Wars and creative food designs (especially the kind you can make yourself in five minutes). When I saw this little green apple Yoda, I knew I had to show you. It’s so simple, and if I made this, I don’t think I could bring myself to eat it! It reminds me of that little bird bread I wrote about last year. I wouldn’t be able to eat that either. It’s just too cute!
What you are looking at here is a Yoda apple with two lightsabers next to him on the plate. This was created by Jill at Kitchen Fun with My Three Sons. This isn’t the first time I’ve written about Jill’s Star Wars food creations. In an article I wrote about Star Wars Party Foods, I featured her Yodamole and Tooper Scoopers (Yoda guacamole and chips), Princess Leia Buns and Han Solo Rolos.
This time around, Jill made this Yoda apple with one green apple, one mini marshmallow, 2 mini chocolate chips, some peanut butter and a toothpick. The lightsabers are pretzel sticks with pieces of red and blue Fruit Roll-Ups wrapped around them. This is one of those things that makes you think, “Why didn’t I think of that?”
