I have to admit that I have never been very much into playing chess. Maybe it’s because I usually don’t have time to sit through a whole game and just relax while I plan my next move. It’s just never been in the time frame I have for gaming I guess. But chess is a widely popular game where your keen ability to predict the future can be the difference between winning and losing. If you can make moves that will force your opponent to play a certain way, you can quite easily predict what is going to happen. However, chess boards are usually quite boring to look at with all those black and white characters. That’s when we need something more like the Star Wars LEGO chess set.
It’s the epic result of fandom that Brandon Griffith put together. It’s based on the characters from the Return Of The Jedi movie and is one heck of a build. If I were invited to play chess with one of these boards, I would absolutely have no excuses not to play. The characters are as amazing as the whole build itself. It must have taken quite some creativity to come up with all of these different mini builds. The whole chess board is even resting on the magical jungle forest which all Star Wars fans are so familiar with.
This is not the first time Brandon put together a Star Wars LEGO chess board. He’s actually built two boards before with the exact same epic appeal as this one. It seems Brandon has a thing for Star Wars LEGO chess boards that just doesn’t stop at the gameplay but goes beyond the scope of ordinary LEGO builds. I am always amazed when someone comes up with something both useful and creative when it comes to LEGO. And these Star Wars LEGO chess boards are definitely within that category, no question about it. What will Brandon come up with next? Will it be yet another epic Star Wars LEGO chess board or is it time to tackle something completely different? Only time will tell, but I hope Brandon hit us up when he does so that we here at Bit Rebels can share it with you. There’s no doubt it will be epic!
